The cultural roots of Christianity are found predominantly in Judaism and Hellenism. The ‘great society’ of Christianity has a responsibility to recognize these foundations. Saint Basil’s engages our roots through multiple forums experienced through worship, education and fellowship.
The life of the Church has also taught that as Christianity spreads, as is the will of God (Matthew 28), that the contemporary cultures being served by the Church are also embraced. With time and God’s Grace we anticipate and welcome Texan culture in the life of our beloved Spiritual Family at Saint Basil’s.
